I’m a poet, community builder, and author of the book Instructions for Traveling West.

During the pandemic, I decided to leave my full-time job and instead, give my days to poems. I wanted to bring as many people to poetry as possible. As a result, I’ve led writing workshops in classrooms, rehabilitation centers, art museums, and bars. I believe that anyone can write a poem if given a chance and that we’d all be better off if we did.

My days are spent reading, writing, teaching, and poeming. Sign up for my newsletter if you'd like to read more about the creative life and what it means to make slow, chewy art.
