First you must realize you’re homesick for all the lives you’re not living. Then, you must commit to the road and the rising loneliness. To the sincere thrill of coming apart.
I’m a poet and educator.
I hold a masters degree in poetry and served as the poet-in-residence for the Wexner Center for the Arts. I also lead transformative writing workshops for individuals who have experienced trauma and have guest-lectured in classrooms from Stanford to Florida State University.
I call Portland, Oregon home.
